Mann is the author of 6 books, including the Barnes & Noble bestseller ‘Guerrilla Networking’ with Jay Conrad Levinson, ‘Start Your Own Coaching Business’ with Entrepreneur Press, ‘Time Zen’, and ‘The Theatrical Juggernaut – The Psyche of the Star’, a book that today remains one of the top how-to-become-a-successful-actor books on the market.

Mann holds a JD/MBA from Pace University, a masters of entrepreneurship degree from Western Carolina University, a bachelors in international economics (minor in French) from Franklin College in Lugano Switzerland, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology at Capella University. Mann also holds a certificate in Financial Planning from Boston Institute of Finance/Boston University.

Via his production company, Loco Dawn Films, Mann has written, produced, directed, and acted in a number of films, including the upcoming horror comedy feature film, “You Can’t Kill Stephen King”, the comedy film “Origami Deathmatch”, and the wakeboarding film, “In the Wake”. He is currently editing his feature-length Iraq war comedy documentary entitled, "Fobbits". Mann is also the former lead producer and host of the celebrity talk-show, “Before the Big Break.”

Mann is the lead singer and guitarist of the self-titled rock band, 'Monroe Mann’ as well as ‘Running for Famous'—find them both on iTunes/Amazon/etc. You can watch the music video for "The Sun Is Always Shining Somewhere" on YouTube.

He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), the American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (AFTRA), and Actors Equity, and is a regularly featured speaker at AFTRA and acting schools on topics such as “Producing Your Own Projects” and “Financial Management for Actors”. Mann has also been flown in to speak at various colleges including Lee College, Tarant County College, and Pace Law School on the subjects of “Guerrilla Networking” and “Leadership Lessons from Iraq”.

Finally, Mann is a bronze-star nominated Iraq war combat veteran, who spent one year in Iraq in 2005 as an intelligence officer, training and advising the 4th Iraqi Army.

In his spare time (he does have some), Mann volunteers as a licensed EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), Wilderness EMT, PADI Rescue SCUBA Diver, Red Cross Certified Lifeguard, and a big brother with the Big Brother/Big Sister program.
